Traditionally speaking, renters insurance really is meant to protect you where and how you live. One exclusion is that we don’t offer protection specifically for storage units. However, your Jetty "contents" coverage ("If something happens to my things") generally does extend to items in storage!
That protection is limited to 10% of your contents protection (or $1,000, whichever is higher). So if you have $20,000 in contents protection, you'd have up to $2,000 in coverage for your items in storage.
You can find information about the coverage for your stored items on page 11 in section 1 (Self-Storage facilities) on your plan details. (Your plan summary can be downloaded from your account page.)
