Sending your SSN to the bureaus increases the odds of them matching the rent payment data we send them to your existing credit file. As a result, we require applicants to provide their SSN as part of signing up for a paid subscription.
If you are on a free or opt out version of the product, we can and will report your rent without your SSN by sending in your name, date of birth, phone number, and address. However, not having your SSN could decrease the odds of the bureau locating your credit profile and boosting your score with the on-time rent payment report.
