A tradeline is an account listed on your credit report. There are two types of tradelines: a credit tradeline and a rental tradeline. A credit tradeline is a credit account that you've established with a lender, which will appear on your credit report. A rental tradelines is a line item on your credit report that reflects your rent payment history. Rental tradelines are calculated into your credit score differently than standard credit tradelines.
If you use Jetty Credit, a service that reports your rental payments to the major credit bureaus, you’ll see Jetty’s rental tradeline on your credit report. Rental tradelines with a long history of payments can positively impact your credit score.
